Granite slabs are slightly different in mineral patterns & colors- meaning no two slabs will ever be the same. If you truly want the look of natural stone, than choose the truly natural product, granite. Granite come directly from stone quarries & is cut into slabs, polished, sealed & than finally fabricated into countertops. Mined all over the world, some granite colors are hard to come by. Granite is a relatively porous stone that does require sealing. Periodic sealing is recommended depending on the color. Granite may or may not have inherent flaws adding to their beauty.
